Apex Mountain Resort is located in the sunny Okanagan Valley in the heart of south-central BC. Set amid BC’s picturesque wine country, the mountain offers stunning views of the surrounding valley.

During the winter, Apex is known for consistently great weather, lots of impressive powder, uncrowded runs and varied terrain. At the resort, you can also try your hand at a wide variety of other winter activities including snowmobiling, tubing, or even climbing up a 12 m (40 ft) ice tower.

In the summer months, take in scenic hiking past meadows of wildflowers, or enjoy mountain biking areas for any skill level.

Getting to the Resort

Apex Mountain Resort is located 30 minutes west of Penticton and approximately 90 minutes south of Kelowna (by car).

The nearest international airport is the Kelowna International Airport. There is also a small regional airport in Penticton, making Apex the closest Okanagan resort to an airport. Car rentals are available at both airports.

Regular shuttle service is available from Summerland (45 minutes by car) and Penticton on weekends and holidays, and a shuttle can be arranged from the Kelowna International Airport. Kelowna, Summerland and Penticton are also accessible via Greyhound bus.

A variety of affordable accommodation is available on the mountain and in nearby Penticton. The majority of on-mountain accommodation boasts ski-in/ski-out access.
