100 Mile House
Historic 100 Mile House (population: 1,885) dates back to the Cariboo Gold Rush era. Once a roadhouse located along the famous Cariboo Waggon Road, the 100 Mile House community and surrounding area boasts fascinating heritage sites as well as spectacular wildlife and wilderness.

Visit the nearby 108 Mile Heritage Site to see one of Canada's largest log barns, a stagecoach barn, a one room schoolhouse and the 105 Mile Roadhouse. Or cast your line along the famous "Fishing Highway," where 100 lakes are located within an hour's drive of each other (appropriate fishing license(s) required). Walk pristine backcountry trails. Behold waterfalls and sandy beaches. Relax at lakeside resorts. In winter, you can cross-country ski or snowmobile across the area's vast network of trails.
