Living in the White Rock area does not make me appreciate it any less. After 20 years living there it still amazes me with the beautiful scenery, parks, beaches and sunsets that are an every day experience.
My husband and I walked to the beach to enjoy some of the world famous fish and chips served right across from the beach. After dinner we walked along the promanade feeding the gulls and enjoying the view. We were fortunate enough to also capture this beautiful sunset...or at least the start of a very impressive sunset.
If you ever have the opportuntity to be in the area, make sure to seek out one of the fish and chip shops and enjoy eating at the beach and enjoying the view.

Shuswap Lake is a beautiful lake for water skiing, camping, renting house boats and just enjoing yourself. The weather in the summer months is usually around 26-30 C. and it warms the lake up to a comfortable temperature. There is also good fishing and bird watching.
