Valemount has a small variety of casual dining options, including pubs, hotel restaurants, and fast food establishments.

Pubs

The Loose Moose Neighborhood Pub (1470-5th Ave) is the local sports bar/pub of choice with a full menu from pub classics to original entrees. Another choice is the Log'n Rail Bar (1400 Main Street), down the street from the Valemount and Area Museum. The Log'n Rail is part of the Valemount Hotel, which also features the China House Restaurant.

Other Local Restaurants

The Caribou Grill, housed in a rustic log and stonework building, offers views of the Caribou, Monashee and Rocky Mountains, and a good wine list. The Summit Grill at the Best Western Hotel (Highway 5 South) and the Great Escape Restaurant (1460 5th Ave) are also great options in the heart of town. The Dduk Bae Ki House (1233B-5th Ave) has a menu combining Korean and Japanese cuisines.
