There are a few restaurant, cafés, bistros and other dining opportunities in and around Kaslo.

Kaslo Hotel

The Kaslo Hotel is a classy addition to Front Street. With the patio facing north and the beautiful Kootenay Lake, the hotel is a great place for a leisurely lunch on a summer’s day. Feeling hungry? Try the buffalo burger.

Cafés

Across from the SS Moyie, the cozy Silver Spoon Café specializes in yummy sandwiches and other homemade fare. The café is open for breakfast and lunch, with outside seating available.

On 5th Street at Front, the Rosewood Café offers fine dining with a family-friendly atmosphere. Kids enjoy a play area, while parents enjoy dinner. Rosewood is open for lunch and dinner in summer, and for dinner only during the rest of the year.

Blue Belle Bistro and Beanery

The Blue Belle Bistro and Beanery combines innovative dishes and good coffee – Oso Negro Coffee roasted in nearby Nelson. Blue Belle is located on corner of 4th and Front Street, and serves lunch and dinner.

Landmark Bakery

The Landmark Bakery, on Front Street a couple of doors down from the Kaslo Hotel, is an old fashioned bakery with everything from wholesome breads to super sticky cinnamon buns. Locals linger over organic coffee and catch up on town gossip. The bakery is open for breakfast and lunch.

Bites on a Budget

Open April through September, Mountain King has no inside seating, but is very affordable for families on a budget. The simple menu consists of burgers, fish and chips, and ice cream. Mountain King is open for lunch and dinner at 333 Front Street.

Stop by the Kaslo Visitor Centre for a complete list of dining options.
