Dawson Creek Dining

The Alaska Pub - Tourism BC
The Alaska Pub, Tourism BC photo
Dawson Creek offers numerous fast food options as well as opportunities for dining in.  Enjoy fare in a locally owned restaurant, snatch a quick bite of fast food, savor a specialty coffee and snack, eat at a pub, or seek out an ethnic option such as Chinese or Vietnamese.  Fast food options range from subs to hamburgers to doughnuts.

While touring the sites in downtown Dawson Creek, consider stopping for a coffee and delicious piece of homemade chocolate cake at Hug-a-Mug (1012-102nd Ave.) while admiring the large wall mural.  Or check out the Under the Willow Tea Room (901B-103rd Ave.), which is an eco-friendly eatery that features organic and locally grown food, with fresh salads, soup and homemade carrot cake, a used book and record store, local artists' work, and occasionally unannounced jamming sessions on Saturdays.  The Noodle Hut (#1 1405-102 Ave.) offers an authentic Vietnamese dining experience, with a wide selection of noodles and other Vietnamese dishes.

To enjoy a meal at a fair and reasonable price, consider Sola's Bar and Grill (1440 Alaska Ave.) or the new Tony Roma's in the Pomeroy Inn & Suites (500 Hwy 2), which offers excellent cuisine, and savory dishes.  A more familiar dining experience can be found at Mr. Mikes Steakhouse and Grill (1501 Alaska Ave.), which also has an outdoor patio option during summer months.

For the full range of dining options in Dawson Creek, visitors can request a copy of the Restaurants Dawson Creek brochure at the Visitor Center.
