Valemount Accommodations

Valemount offers a good selection of accommodations located both in town and the surrounding area. Options range from hotels, motels, and resorts to campgrounds and RV parks.

Hotels and Motels

Most hotels and motels are found either in Valmount along 5th Avenue and Karas Drive or beyond town along Highway 5. Both national chains and independents are well represented. The Best Western is uniquely situated on the edge of Robert W. Starratt Wildlife Sanctuary, a Ducks Unlimited marshland.

Resorts

Most resorts are open year around offering access to both summer and winter activities. However, some are seasonal. Twin Peaks Resort, located 2.5km/1.5mi north of Valemount on Highway 5, has a large lodge and five luxury cabins. Mount Robson Lodge is on the Fraser River, 5km/3mi west of Mount Robson Provincial Park on highway 16.

Camping and RV Parks

Robson Shadows Campground has 25 sites along the Fraser River. Tenting sites are also available at Canoe River Campground, located 8.5km/11.5mi south of Valemount.

RVers can take advantage of Valemount Pines Golf Club and RV Park, 1km/0.8mi north of Valemount, or Tete Juane Lodge, 20km/12mi north of town. Tete Juane Lodge combines a lodge, backpacker's hostel, teepees, and an RV park.
