Surrey Accommodations

Surrey offers a solid mix of brand-name hotels, campgrounds, and RV parks, in addition to a number of quality B&Bs. There are options for different demographics and budgets, including families, seniors, and business travelers.

Finding accommodations in Surrey can also be a money-saving option for visitors to Vancouver. It takes about 30 minutes by car or the SkyTrain rapid transit link to reach downtown Vancouver from Surrey. There are four SkyTrain stations in Surrey: Scott Road, Gateway, Surrey Central, and King George.

Hotels in Surrey

There are more than 20 hotels in Surrey, and many of them are well-known mainstream chains. Hotels range in size from 12 to 279 rooms, with free parking the norm.

The Sheraton Guildford is Surrey's largest and most luxurious hotel, owning a four-star, AAA Three-Diamond rating. Amenities include in-room massage treatments, a business centre, a fitness centre, and a heated outdoor pool. The hotel often hosts conferences, such as the annual Surrey International Writers' Conference.

The Best Western King George Inn & Suites offers refrigerators, microwaves, and free Internet access in all 72 rooms. Those who want to stay close to the Canada-US border can check out the 150-room Pacific Inn Resort & Convention Centre Surrey, which features a distinctive pink design scheme and an indoor tropical garden.

A wide variety of affordable motels can be found along the King George Highway.

Bed and Breakfasts

Surrey is home to more than 10 B&Bs. One standout location is Apple Creek Bed and Breakfast, which provides antique furnishings, a pool, and a squash court on a five-acre estate. Another is Meg's Place, a five-star waterfront establishment in the Crescent Beach resort community. Its comforts include in-room satellite TV, a hot tub and gazebo, and gourmet two-course breakfasts.

Campgrounds & RV Parks

Surrey's biggest private camping area is Dogwood Campgrounds, with 350 sites. Full hookups, non-hookups, tenting, and storage options are available.

Hazelmere RV Park and Campground, with 200 spaces, offers sports, playground, and laundry facilities as well as cabins in a peaceful rural setting.
