Silver Star Mountain Resort Accommodations
Silver Star Mountain Resort provides a wide range of accommodations from hostels to luxury vacation homes in its colourful Victorian-style village and in three surrounding residential areas: The Ridge, The Knoll and Creekside/Brewer’s Pond. Choices are geared to families and empty nesters as well as action-minded young people.
Ski-in/Ski-out Access
Most Silver Star accommodations provide ski-in/ski out access either directly to a ski run or just a short shuffle away. The residential communities surrounding the village are sited to provide the same convenience.
Hotels/Condos
Standard hotel rooms are available at the Bulldog Hotel, Chilcoot Lodge and Vance Creek Lodge. But most accommodations at Silver Star cater to the needs of families or groups with studio and 1-bedroom to 4-bedroom condos.
Older properties have been renovated while recently completed luxury options include the Snowbird Lodge in the village and the FireLight Lodge overlooking Brewer’s Pond in the Adventure Park area.
Additional condo accommodations are available at the Grandview Condominium complex on The Knoll and in the Creekside area.
Vacation Homes
Silver Star is noted for the imaginative colour schemes of its brightly painted vacation homes, especially on The Knoll. A wide variety of size and style is available for rental in three categories, regular, premium and executive.
B&Bs
Several B&Bs are located on Silver Star Road near the resort and there are more options in Vernon, 22km/13mi southwest of Silver Star.
Hostels
SameSun Hostel is located in Silver Star village and offers dorm and private rooms with ski-in/ski-out access.
RV Camping
Silver Star permits free RV camping winter and summer in the parking area. There are no hook-ups, but access to shower facilities in the fitness centre is available for a small fee.
