Sicamous Accommodations

Sicamous offers a variety of accommodation options for short and long-stay vacations suitable to various budgets, as well as stopover locations for drive through travelers on the Trans-Canada Highway. While chain motels are primarily located along the Trans Canada, bed and breakfasts, cottages, and campsites are situated in Sicamous' village centre or near lakes and waterways.

Motels

Sicamous is well serviced with a range of motels, mostly located along the Trans-Canada Highway, with some backing onto the Eagle River. A variety of national chains are represented.

Bed & Breakfasts

There are several B&Bs in Sicamous: For art lovers, there is Artist's House Heritage B&B, a 1922 historic home and art studio overlooking Shuswap Lake, and farther afield, nature enthusiasts can try Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge.

Condos, Cottages and Cabins

Self-contained weekly rentals at one-, two- and three-bedroom condos are a very popular option in Sicamous. Many private lakeside or lake view cottages and cabins are also available.

Houseboats

Sicamous, the "houseboat capital of Canada" has hundreds of houseboats available for rent at various local operators. These floating cottages come in one-, two- and three-level configurations that can sleep up to 30 people. Amenities vary considerably.

Camping and RV

Sicamous has six local campgrounds that accommodate both camping and RVs. Services range from basic power and water to full hook-ups. Some also offer rustic cabins. An additional 65 tent- and RV-sites are available at Yard Creek Provincial Park.
