Radium Hot Springs Accommodations
Radium Hot Springs is home to approximately 20 hotel and motel properties - almost all of them are independent operations. The only hotel chain property in the village is also one of the newest; the 4 1/2 star Prestige Radium Hot Springs is located next to the main highway intersection.
The Chalet Europe has a commanding location high above the village, offering sweeping views of the entire valley. The hotel offers just 17 suites, private viewing decks and fireplaces in every room.
The largest property in the area is the Radium Resort, just a few minutes south of the village. The resort offers everything from standard rooms to condominium units that can accommodate up to eight people. Everything comes with terrific views of the golf course and the mountains.
The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, 20 minutes south of Invermere, is a full service facility offering a menu of on-site activities that includes skiing, tennis, golf, horseback riding and a soak in their mineral hot spring pools.
Condos and Vacation Homes
Numerous condominium and vacation home rentals are available throughout the Windermere Valley, and are handled through local agencies. There are also several bed and breakfasts scattered around the valley.
Camping & RV
Short-stay camping facilities are becoming scarce, as long-time owners sell their properties for either timeshare or condominium development. Three commercial RV parks operate in the Fairmont Hot Springs area and one in Radium Hot Springs.
Non-commercial camping options in the Radium Hot Springs area include Dry Gulch Provincial Park and the Redstreak Campground in Kootenay National Park.
