Princeton Accommodations

Castle Resort, Laurie CarterAccommodations in and around Princeton tend to focus on nature and outdoor activities as well as the region's mining heritage. The town has no hotels, but there are a number of well-maintained motels along with interesting B&Bs, resorts, guest ranches, cabins and vacation home rentals.

Motels

Many motels offer suites with kitchen facilities. Two national chains are represented, the Sandman Inn and the Canada's Best Value Princeton Inn. Both are located on Highway 3.

Castle Resort

The Princeton Castle Resort offers suites in its log chalets and lodge, rustic accommodations in cabins, teepees and tent sites along with a full-service RV park. Rainbow Lake and the Swan Lake Bird Sanctuary are close by.

B&Bs

Most B&Bs are located in the surrounding countryside or small neighbouring villages. Several are close to important historic sites. Osprey Lake Retreat is open year round and Trail Lake Bed & Breakfast is popular with cyclists on this stretch of the Trans Canada Trail.

Hedley hosts the Old Hedley Road Inn on the shores of the Similkameen River and the Historic Colonial Inn, the original guest house of the Nickel Plate gold mine. The Mozey-on-Inn encompasses a 1911 structure and presents a pioneer theme in Coalmont.

Guest Ranches & Inns

Jellicoe Station Inn, Collingwood Crossing and The Bit Ranch are all located close to the Trans Canada Trail. In addition to their regular getaway clientele, they welcome riders on multi-day inn-to-inn rides with BC Horse Vacations.

A-P Guest Ranch is set in cattle country north of Princeton. Guests make use of the upgraded original homestead buildings (1911). Activities include horsemanship and trail riding.

RV, Camping and Cabins

Princeton maintains a municipal RV park and campground across from the Princeton Golf Course. Cabins, camping and/or RV facilities are available at nine private campgrounds and parks within 47km/29mi of Princeton. Nearby provincial parks provide an additional 113 campsites.
