Pender Islands Accommodations

B&Bs

Perch on top of rugged bluffs while drifting off to sleep at Sahhali B&B, which boasts incredible ocean views. At Hummingbird Hollow on North Pender, look forward to flowering gardens, relaxing by the lake, and visiting with the local deer. Expect two-night weekend minimums at many establishments during the high season. Some homes on Pender Island can be rented by the week for long-stay visits.

Poet's Cove Resort & Spa

Poet's Cove Resort & Spa, the largest modern resort in the Gulf Islands, features an oceanfront main lodge plus a collection of cottages and villas facing Bedwell Harbour on South Pender. A spa, restaurant, bistro, coffeeshop, and marina are featured on the expansive property. Expect piped-in music in the hallways and scores of Reader's Digest Condensed Books for breezy reads.

Campgrounds

Set up a tent in the trees at Prior Centennial Park (17 drive-in sites) on the North Pender half of Canal Road. Enjoy the waterviews at South Pender’s Beaumont Marine Park (11 sites), accessible either via a strenuous hike up Mount Norman or much more easily by boat. Or join the family groups camping in the orchard.
