Nakusp Accommodations

The Nakusp area has a wide range of accommodations including several hotels, numerous bed and breakfasts, and camping facilities. Advance reservations are recommended for summer weekends.

Hotels

In total, Nakusp has less than 100 hotel rooms. The Kuskanax Lodge is a 30-unit full-service property, which hosts heli-skiers clientele in January and February.

Bed and Breakfasts

There are at least 10 Bed and Breakfasts in the Nakusp area, some of which offer special services: Lakeview Bed, Bale and Breakfast accommodates guests and their horses.

Hot Springs Accommodation

Nakusp Hot Springs Cedar Chalets are equipped with kitchens and some can accommodate up to 9 people. Smaller units are also available. Three different options are available at Halcyon Hot Springs Village and Spa. At the high end, the Village Chalets are luxuriously appointed with hardwood and granite, and come with complete kitchens. For those on a more modest budget, the resort also offers rustic, but comfortable, cottages and cabins.

Camping

Nakusp offers municipal and commercial campgrounds. Nakusp and Halcyon Hot Springs accommodate tents and RVs. Summit Lake and McDonald Creek Provincial Parks have basic camping facilities, and good water access.
