Kelowna Accommodations

Kelowna offers a variety of accommodation options, ranging from national chain hotels and motels to luxury resorts and unique bed and breakfasts. Nearby, Big White Ski Resort provides various accommodations in on location, including standard hotel rooms, condos, townhouses, and chalet rentals. Fishing enthusiasts can book a rustic lodge in the high country northwest of Kelowna, while campers can pitch a tent at various sites in Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Lake Country.

Hotels and Motels

Numerous national and regional hotel chains are located along Harvey Avenue (Highway 97) in Kelowna. There is also a Holiday Inn Express and Best Western in West Kelowna. Motels and motor inns cluster around the junction of Highway 97 and Highway 33 (to Big White Ski Resort) and along Lakeshore Road. In downtown Kelowna, two hostels welcome backpackers and the seriously budget-conscious.

Kelowna is known for its luxury lakeshore resorts that feature amenities such as spas, children's programs, marinas, horseback riding, tennis and golf. Stay in the heart of Kelowna's Cultural District at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre. In the Mission district, standouts include Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotel & Villas and Playa del Sol Resort. Book a one-, two- or three-bedroom suite at the Cove Lakeside Resort in West Kelowna or a condo or chalet at Lake Okanagan Resort.

B&Bs

Many Kelowna residents operate B&Bs. Stay in a modern city home or retreat to a country setting surrounded by orchards, or overlooking vineyards. Wine lovers can try Accounting for Taste Bed and Breakfast, run by a wine tour-guide and writer, while foodies can stay at chef-run A View of the Lake Bed & Breakfast & Demonstration Kitchen. In Lake Country just north of Kelowna, stay on a working farm at the Country Ridge Ranch House. Camping and RV parks with full amenities can be found in Kelowna, West Kelowna and Lake Country. As well, 122 tent and RV sites are available at Bear Creek Provincial Park on the west side of Okanagan Lake, 9km/5.6mi from downtown Kelowna.
