Hotels & Motels

Most hotels and motels are located in Kamloops' Aberdeen area, downtown core, along Highway 1 on the eastern portion of the city, on the north shore, and along Columbia Street. Most major chains are represented, as well as independent establishments. Get a taste of Kamloops' history at centre-city Plaza Heritage Hotel (4th and Victoria), which has been recently restored to its 1928 design.

Guest Ranches

Guest ranches offer an opportunity to experience daily life on an authentic working ranch. Stump Lake Ranch is tucked away the rolling hills of the Upper Nicola Valley, and is reachable via Highway 5A from either Kamloops or Merritt. Little Beaver Creek Ranch, featuring spacious traditional round-log cabins, is midway between Kamloops and Merritt, off Highway 5A. East of Kamloops, immediately adjacent to Rivershore Golf Links, is the South Thompson Inn & Conference Centre, a combination guest ranch and golf resort.

Camping and RVs

There are several campgrounds in and around Kamloops, including Knutsford Campground, 6km/3.5miles south of the city centre. RV parking is also available at a few different locations including at the BC Wildlife Park just east of town.
