Houston Accommodations

Houston has all types of casual accommodation – from motels, lodges, and a bed and breakfasts, to campsites and RV parks. All three of the town's motels are located along Hwy 16.

Bearspaw Inn

The town's only bed & breakfast, Bearspaw Inn, is one of the most coveted places to stay here, so book early. The Bearspaw Inn offers guests a choice of three rooms in addition to two full bathrooms and a common living room.

Lodges and Resorts

Visitors wanting to stay on of the nearby lakes, should check out the wilderness lodges and resorts in the area. The lodges are affordable and set in beautiful locations. At least three are within an hour’s drive from town along well-maintained logging roads.

Camping and RVs

The municipal campground, located in the town centre at Jamie Baxter Park is no longer in operation, though tenters do have a choice of various campsites at the many lakes and parks surrounding Houston.

Two private RV sites, both of which also allow tents, flank the town on its east and west sides, also along Hwy 16. Each sits in a forested area, nicely decorated with flowerbeds. The Shady Rest RV Park, on the east side of Houston, has mini golf course.
