Hotels & Motels

Ramada is the only national hotel chain in Grand Forks and this property is a motor inn on Highway 3. Visitors will also find moderate accommodations in privately owned motels strung along Highway 3 at both the east and west ends of town. A number of these have been recently renovated. The Pinegrove Motel offers individual bungalows. Johnny's Motel is located on the Granby River and the Riverside Motel backs on the Kettle River.

B&Bs

B&Bs provide a wide choice in accommodations around Grand Forks. History buffs stay within walking distance of downtown in the Maples B&B, a tree-shaded century home, or the Luna Bed and Breakfast, a renovated 1913 home. Opt for a country retreat at the Peaceful Pines B&B, noted for its flowers and trees, or the See Horse Inn, set on a mountainside with expansive views of the valley and handy access to the Trans Canada Trail.

Water lovers stay at the River's Edge or RiverBend B&B and swim or tube on the Granby and Kettle rivers. For more adventurous spirits, the Granby River Homestead provides tipi rentals.

RV and Camping

Grand Forks is a welcoming destination for RV enthusiasts and campers. The Grand Forks Municipal Campground, located next to City Park in the heart of downtown on the shores of the Kettle River, offers 21 full-service RV sites plus tent sites. Four private RV parks/campgrounds also provide direct river access.
