Fort Nelson Accommodations

The Fort Nelson Hotel (Mile 300, Alaska Highway) has a western frontier exterior and basic comfortable rooms with all the expected amenities. Another value option is the Blue Bell Inn (4203-50th Ave. South, Historic Mile 300). This motel features standard rooms with 2-3 double beds.

Find a quiet atmosphere at the newly renovated Woodlands Inn (3995 50th Ave. S). Meeting facilities are available and rooms feature wilderness photographs of the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area. Other options are the Super 8 Hotel (4503 50th Ave. S), the Lakeview Inn and Suites (4507 50th Ave. S.), and the Ramada Inn (5035-51 Ave. W).

Bed & Breakfasts

Fort Nelson's B&B options include the Alaska Highway Bed & Breakfast, the Ardendale Bed & Breakfast, and Stone Mountain Safaris Ltd. Bed & Breakfast at Toad River.

Camping

Camping is available in Fort Nelson, or at Tetsa River, Stone Mountain, Muncho Lake, and Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Parks.
