Dawson Creek Accommodations

As the Alaska Highway starting point, an extra day in Dawson Creek provides an opportunity to explore the historical nature of the town and the old highway section that leads to the Kiskatinaw River historic bridge. Accommodations are located throughout the town, including those with proximity to the downtown, within walking distance of the sports complex, and close to the mall.
Camping
Mile 0 RV Park, located at Pioneer Village, is a great way for RV and tent campers to combine a night in Dawson Creek with a historical tour of the town's early years. Although Mile 0 does not offer a campfire option, the nearby Northern Lights RV Park does. Both of these sites offer a full range of facilities including showers, flush or dry toilets, sani-dump, laundry and Internet.
Hotels
A number of newer hotel options are also available to visitors. The Super 8 Hotel (1440 Alaska Ave.) and Ramada Limited (1748 Alaska Ave.) are both found along the Alaska Highway, within walking distance of the Northern Alberta Railways Park, downtown and Pioneer Village. Closer to the multiplex at the south end of town, are the Best Western (500 Hwy 2) and Pomeroy Inn & Suites (540 Hwy 2), which both have pools.

Honeymooners or visitors looking for an interesting and more luxurious experience in Dawson Creek should visit the The Graneries B&B on Bear Mountain (2106 Ski Hill Road), open from May to September.
