It offers private bedrooms and dormitory accommodations, and private and shared kitchens. Bedding and internet come included. Nothing grotty about this baby. Regular tourists bunk in and rave about it.

Camping & RV

Cumberland's campgrounds, Cumberland Lake Park, is located on Comox Lake just 5km/3.5mi out of town. It has 18 RV and 44 tent sites plus wooded areas, hiking trails, swimming, picnic area and playground. Its boat launch provides access to Comox Lake for boaters and anglers.

Visitors seeking luxe accommodations find them in Courtenay 8.4km/5.2mi north of the village. The city's major hotels are conveniently located downtown.
