Chilliwack Accommodations

Greendale Pottery Guesthouse - Tourism ChilliwackAccommodations in Chilliwack tend to be affordable and family-friendly, and the selection, though limited, is quite diverse. The city has five mid-range, brand-name hotels, mostly located close to the Trans-Canada Highway. There are also some independent inns and hotels, like downtown's Royal Hotel, which opened in 1908 and has been extensively renovated in keeping with its heritage style, from vintage photograph displays to antique furniture.

Avid golfers can stay at The Falls Golf Resort, where luxury villas accommodate six to eight guests apiece on the first fairway.

B&Bs and Camping

A few cozy B&B's are also available. Greendale Pottery & Country Guesthouse has one of the more distinctive concepts, as owner Holly McKeen makes crystalline glazed porcelain pottery on site and sells organic beef and eggs in addition to offering two comfortable bedrooms with adjoining kitchenettes and mountain views.

Between May and September, Chilliwack is a magnet for campers, recreational vehicle (RV) owners, and vacation cabin renters. There's a mixture of private campsites and provincial campgrounds, most of which are readily accessible and close to urban centres. Cultus Lake, Chilliwack Lake, and Bridal Falls are popular spots for camping and cabins.
