Hotels and Motels

Budget options in Chetwynd include the Stagecoach Inn (5413 S Access Rd) and the Country Squire Motor Inn (5305 South Access Rd), both of which allow pets. A more homegrown experience is available at the recently refurbished Pine Cone Motor Inn at (5224 53rd Ave).

Enjoy a night's stay at any one of the newer hotels in town. The Westwind Motel is especially suitable for travellers with a convoy as it is right next to campsites. The Lakeview Inn & Suites (4820 North Access Rd) has standard rooms as well as jacuzzis and fireplaces in some rooms. The Pomeroy Inn & Suites is relatively higher end.

Cabins

Cabin rentals are available at the Moberly Lake Marina, the West Moberly First Nations Dunne-za Lodge at Moberly Lake, and the Azouzetta Lake Lodge in the Pine Pass, 110km/68.4mi south of Chetwynd along Highway 97.

Camping & RV

Camp right in town at the Westwind RV Park, with pull through RV and tent sites, a picnic area, playground, and excellent facilities. The Caron Creek RV Park south on Highway 97 to Prince George offers 40 sites with laundry, showers and a local store.

Provincial campgrounds offer RV and tent camping at Moberly Lake and Heart Lake. Both of these sites are semi-developed with pit toilets and fire pits. Moberly Lake campground includes an adventure playground. Rustic camping options are available at Windfall Creek, Big Lake, and Jackfish Lake recreation sites.

Camping sites are also available at the Natural Springs Golf Course, at the Moberly Lake Marina, and Mount Solitude, 72km south of Chetwynd on Highway 97, and at the Heart Lake Provincial Campground.
