Ashcroft Accommodations

Willow'n Bed and Breakfast - Toshi photoThe character of Ashcroft is reflected in the many bed and breakfasts located both in and outside the downtown core. In addition to bed and breakfasts, a guest ranch, and camping facilities, Ashcroft also offers access to many motels that line the highways intersecting at Cache Creek, 10 km/6mi east. There are two motels in town: Ashcroft River Inn (50 1st Street) and Ashcroft Apartment Motel (102-715 Railway Ave).

Bed and Breakfasts

Ashcroft has a wide and diverse assortment of Bed and Breakfasts. The Willow'n (570 Mesa Vista Drive) is situated on a plateau high above the town and valley, offering panoramic views of Ashcroft and the Thompson and Bonaparte River Valleys. (Willow'n rooms provide private access to the viewing deck.) Hiking trails along the mesa are just outside the property line.

The Blue Sage B&B (405 Brink Street) is in the heart of Ashcroft's downtown historical district and is across from the Ashcroft Museum, close to local attractions, and restaurants. The Desert Gem Bed & Breakfast (511 Brink St.), also in town, is a 19th century heritage home.

Sundance Guest Ranch

The Sundance Guest Ranch, a 10 minute drive from downtown Ashcroft south toward Logan Lake/Merritt on Highway 97C, is an all inclusive working ranch with a variety of outdoor activities including horseback riding, a heated swimming pool, and tennis.

Camping and RVs

The Ashcroft and Cache Creek region has numerous campgrounds and RV parks. Ashcroft Legacy Park in downtown Ashcroft is a full service RV park for all types of camping. The Brookside Campsite (1621 East Trans-Canada Highway), 1km/.07m east of nearby Cache Creek, and is easily accessible from the highway.

Hat Creek Ranch provides both a great camping experience and a glimpse onto the culture of Stuctwesemc First Nation. The ranch's Kekuli, a traditional Shuswap winter pit house, is a log-supported structure partly built underground that accommodates 18-20 people comfortably. The ranch also has eight RV sites equipped with electricity, a tenting area, and two teepees.
