The Chemainus Bluegrass Festival features two days of great bluegrass music, including US national touring band Steep Ravine, from California. West Coast favourites Five on a String will be featured, along with the Tishomingo String Band, Bluegrass Fever and Moon Riders. Admission is by donation, with a suggested fifteen dollars for Saturday and ten dollars for Sunday (or twenty dollars for a weekend pass). Food and beverages available.

Fundraiser for Cittaslow Cowichan Bay. See our youtube video on our website to give you an idea. This is an elegent white dinner in the vineyard; chic picnic in a public place. This is a wonderful chance to experience al fresco dining in the vineyard and meet your community. Zero waste is targeted and you are asked to bring your own picnic and a vegetable dish, salad or dessert made with local ingredients to share. Also keeping in mind with the original concept of the white dinner, don't forget to bring your own plates, cutlery, stemware, linens and chairs. Tables will be provided. Of course, please remember dinner guest MUST wear all white!
