The Pavilion Mountain Circle Tour follows some of the Gold Rush Trail, to Pavilion Mountain (elevation 1,520m/4,987ft), through the Diamond S Cattle Ranch, along the shoreline of Kelly Lake and Downing Provincial Park to Clinton.

Lillooet to Clinton

139.30 km - about 2 hours 19 min

From Lillooet, head northeast on Highway 99 and then north to Clinton Pavilion Road. After the ascent and descent of Pavilion Mountain, stop for a picnic along the shores of Kelly Lake in Downing Provincial Park. Continue east to reach Clinton.

Clinton to Historic Hat Creek Ranch

Drive south on Hwy 97 from Clinton. Historic Hat Creek Ranch is near the junction of Highway 97 and Highway 99 – stop in for stagecoach ride, horseback trail ride, or a tour of roadhouse and First Nations village.

Marble Canyon Provincial Park, Turquoise Lake and Crown Lake await on the return to Lillooet along Highway 99. Camp in the park, and enjoy fishing or swimming in the lakes.
