Farms & Markets
Delta's agricultural land is abundant with berry crops, corn, potatoes, among other produce; fieldside signs identify what's growing where.
There are plenty of U-pick fields to enjoy, from strawberries to pumpkin patches and at harvest time in particular, roads can be busy with tractors and other farm equipment. Please give them right of way.
Earthwise Farm & Gardens
Based on the concept of inter-related garden ecosystems, Earthwise Farm & Gardens experiential one-acre garden-farm is an active learning centre for gardening and growing produce.
In addition to more than 60 community gardens, it has several themed areas including a Native plant garden, that demonstrate concepts such as companion planting, soil management and natural pest control.
