Celebrating over 20 years of all things fresh straight from the farm, this is the most established market of its kind in Vancouver. Throughout the summer and early autumn months, it's the go-to place to get the freshest produce from local farmers - from the field to your table in hours. This year, bring your reusable bag to the Farmers' Market new location: Triangle Square (conveniently in between Net Loft and Public Market). It's cash only, but there are ATMs nearby. And remember, if you can, make sure to bike, walk, take transit, or the Aquabus and False Creek Ferry.

On Saturday, June 8th at 7:30 PM, the historic St. Andrew's-Wesley
church will ring with the joyful sounds of Vancouver's 90-voice City Soul Choir, directed by Brian Tate. SOULUNPLUGGED is an evening of a cappella music. This concert is unique for the City Soul Choir, who usually performs with a rocking gospel/soul band. Brian says: "For centuries, the ecstatic sound of unaccompanied voices singing together in sacred spaces has proved to be unequalled in power and beauty. The choir will perform African, Gregorian, and Native American chants, spirituals, gospel, folk and classical selections -
music to touch, heal, excite, and inspire.

BC is regarded by many to have a some of the cleanest air & water on the planet, with urban communities set amidst wonderfully diverse ecosystems. Wherever you live, you are not far from nature. Yet the balance is very fragile. All too often those basic services delivered as part of our ecosystem - clean air, fresh water, healthy soil & the natural systems that abound - are taken for granted. Yet, do we take it for granted? Join us for two engaging and provocative presentations by two pre-eminent speakers - leaders in their field, Mark Angelo and Dr. David Suzuki.
