Dawson Creek is best known as "Mile Zero" of the Alaska Highway.

Located just minutes from town on the Alaska Highway, the 18-hole Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club offers a manicured golf course with three par-4 holes. 16km/10mi north of Dawson Creek on the Alaska Highway, Farmington Fairways is a 9-hole course rated as a par 36. It has a clubhouse, a Pro Shop and a 300 yard driving range.
