Creston has two great golf courses located in the valley: Creston Golf Club and Kokanee Springs Golf Resort. Both are challenging courses with exceptional qualities.
Creston Golf Club
The Creston Golf Club has hosted its share of championship events and is a challenging course – hole 7 involves a 15-storey drop from tee to fairway. The water hazards here come complete with resident turtles.
Golf here in September and enjoy the glint of fall sunshine on golden leaves against the backdrop of the Purcell Mountains.
Creston Golf Club is located on Mallory Road, 5km/3mi south of Creston, off Highway 21. Private pilots can fly into the Creston Valley Airport located just minutes from the clubhouse.

Kokanee Springs Golf Resort
Designed by Norman Woods, Kokanee Springs Golf Resort features a number of big water hazards, including an at times raging mountain river, and some huge elevation changes from teebox to green. Long driving fairways and immense rolling greens add a significant measure of intimidation for beginners.
Kokanee Springs is remotely located on the east shore of Kootenay Lake. Drive an hour north of Creston, along a breathtaking section of Highway 3A, and discover one of British Columbia's best courses. Golfers with their own aircraft can utilize the private 823m/2,700ft grass airstrip at Crawford Bay. The resort offers golf packages including accommodation at Kokanee Lodges – conveniently located between the tenth and twelfth fairways.

If there was ever a place in Canada tailor-made for a world-class golf course, it's Creston. Situated in a pristine valley with one of the warmest micro-climates in the entire country, the Creston Golf Club is a championship golf course of the highest order. The par 72, 6,508 yard layout, which has hosted numerous provincial championships, is, unquestionably, one of the top all-around tests in British Columbia. Following your first round at Creston, relax on the clubhouse balcony, re-live the towering tee-shots hit at #7 and #12, and plan your return trip.
