'Explore Historic Cranbrook' is a free self-guided tour of Cranbrook's heritage architecture from the late 1800s as well as local monuments, parks & other attractions.

Baker Hill is a heritage residential area dating from 1898, while the downtown core and the railway heritage infrastructure area provide additional experiences in local history. Tours, with a pre-planned route, can be started from the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel, or you can plan your own itinerary

This annual Father's Day event promises to be a great hit again this year. In addition to the friendly gold panning competition, the day will include other games such as Claims Staking, Gold Rush and Nail Driving. Raffles, Root Beer Garden, Concession - It's a payload of family fun! Takes place from 2:00 pm. The day also includes small engine demonstrations and the first run of the steam train. Dads are free.

Fort Steele's regular displays & shops will all be open & the Steam Train will be running from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. It will be a very fun day from 8:30 am in the morning until 4:30 pm.
