Accommodations
Cranbrook has almost 1,000 hotel rooms, a small number of in-town B&Bs, and a broad selection of camping options.
Hotels are busiest in July and August, but can be fully booked at other times of the year – especially when there is a hockey tournament or other sports event.
Hotels & Resort
In town, most major hotel chains are represented. A large golf resort and casino is located a few minutes drive north of town. An initiative of the Ktanaxa First Nation, the resort is built around a former "residential school" for Aboriginal children that was funded by the Canadian Government in 1910. A unique feature of the resort is the display of historical and cultural artifacts in the Ktanaxa Nation Interpretive Centre.
Camping & RV
Serviced RV sites and campgrounds are located in various locations in Cranbrook. Camping is also available in the following provincial parks: Jimsmith Lake, Moyie Lake, Norbury Lake and Wasa Lake.
