Car Travel
Car travel (or cycling) is frequently necessary in Christina Lake as there is no compact town centre. Accommodations, services and amenities are spread out along Highway 3 or the lakeshore. Boat travel is also common as many parts of the lake are not accessible by road.
Winter tires are recommended on mountain roads from October through April. Road conditions at higher elevations can be treacherous. Four-wheel or all-wheel-drive vehicles are best suited for rugged backcountry travel. Car rentals are not available in Christina Lake.
