Certain dining essentials are required for a vacation getaway, and Christina Lake has them all.

Don't look for any franchise fast food spots, but there's locally owned pizza, Greek, pub food, golf course fare, burgers and ice cream. While many eateries at "the Lake" are only open seasonally, there's no problem getting a good meal any time of year.

Best Breakfast

Big breakfasts and lunch specials feature homemade whole grain, organic breads from across the street at From the Hearth Bakery (6 Johnson Rd). Sometimes there's live music (no set schedule) and the deck is shady and popular.
