The nearest Canada-US border crossing for Chilliwack is at Abbotsford/Huntingdon/Sumas at Highway 11, just south of Highway 1's Exit 92.

Chilliwack Transit offers limited service within the city and to attractions such as Minter Gardens and Bridal Falls Provincial Park, as well as to neighbouring communities like Agassiz and Harrison Hot Springs. Evening service is available Thursday to Saturday.

Ferry and Rail Travel
For travellers arriving from Vancouver Island, the nearest BC Ferries terminals are located at Tsawwassen and Horseshoe Bay, requiring a drive of at least 1.5 hours to Chilliwack.
VIA Rail, the Canadian national train line, also offers service to Chilliwack, although a special request made 48 hours in advance is required in order to stop in the city, and that option is only available on certain trains.
