This intimate morning of classical music will begin with complimentary coffee, tea, and delicious baked treats. Hosted by Sarah Hagen, the innovative and exciting young Vancouver pianist, this wonderful performance also features Dutch soprano Anne Grim, who has gained an internationally recognized reputation as a master in the performance of early music and the baroque repertoire. Anne has appeared in many orchestras and concert halls across Europe, and now teaches music at the University of Victoria, British Columbia.

The dynamic, theatrical Circus re-interpretation of Lewis Carroll's Alice Through the Looking Glass will leave audiences entertained, dazzled and amazed! The Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are all back, displaying amazing talents of circus artistry and guiding Alice and her cohorts through a topsy, turvy circus wonderland! Witness Alice and her friends battle the giant stilted Jabberwocky, outsmart foes in a giant chess game with crafty circus ingenuity, and reach new heights in a bizarre world where up is down and front is back.

Winter Harp's extraordinary musicians, clad in glorious medieval attire will perform a collection of music, songs and stories in celebration of winter. The musical repertoire ranges from heartwarming carols to Celtic, medieval, and world tunes that will transport you to a magical world. Dozens of candles light the stage, with breathtaking backdrops of cathedral and snow creating a magnificent historical diorama. Add in the beautifully carved instruments, and the entire show takes on the look of a luminous pre-Raphaelite painting, with golden Celtic and classical harps, drums, tambourines, temple bells, and flutes.

The smash-hit musical show that has been all around the world is coming to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre! Sing-a-Long-a Sound screens the classic Julie Andrews film musical on December 19 at 7:30 p.m. ¬- complete with subtitles so that the whole audience can sing along! This edition will be hosted by Caroline Buckingham, a local singer and the star of Secondary Character's Sound of Music production from last year. There is also the famous fancy-dress competition, in which everyone who has come in costume is invited onto the stage to show off their fantastic creations.
