Chilliwack has a reasonably diverse selection of quality restaurants, and prices are affordable.
Visitors can dine everywhere from bakeries and sandwich shops to steak houses and tea rooms.
Fast-food and franchise family restaurants, including popular burger and pizza joints, are clustered near the Trans-Canada Highway, as well as near Vedder Crossing, which lies south of the highway.
Upscale and Ethnic Restaurants
For more upscale or ethnic dining, head for the Yale Road district in downtown Chilliwack. Some notable eateries include Bravo (46244 Yale Rd), whose dinner menu (Wed - Sat) features West Coast cuisine like wild salmon filet and rack of lamb, plus 250 wines; and Rustica's (9339 Main St), which specializes in authentic Italian meals. Other area restaurants dish up German, Greek, Indian, Japanese and Korean food, and there are enough sushi restaurants in Chilliwack for sushi lovers to eat at a different one every day for two weeks.
