The Quesnel Farmers' Market has been a weekend institution since 1989. Coordinated by a dedicated group of volunteers, the Farmers' Market has grown to receive hundreds of visitors each weekend.

Enjoy a day of family oriented activities ranging from a Farmer's Market, Quesnel Bagpipe Band, Highland Dancers, horse-drawn wagon rides, arts and crafts, and heritage games. Music will be provided by Eddie DeSouza. Enjoy a barbequed hamburger or hotdog served with vegetables & dip, ice cream cone and beverage. Admission to the site is half price ($4.50) for families.

Come and join us for the first BBQ of the season and have some fun. Guided tour of Cottonwood House, horse-drawn wagon rides, heritage games and music provided by the Windy Reeds. Wear something 'red' for free admission. Barbeque meals include your choice of Hamburger or Hotdog served with Caesar Salad, Vegetables & Dip, Ice Cream Cone and Beverage.

Take a day to celebrate and discover BC's rich history. With activities such as wagon rides, horse farming exercises, Royal Engineers Living History Demonstrations - "Dresses, Drawers & More" and "Guns of the Cariboo 1865-1900", ice-cream making, gold panning, heritage games, and more, this is the perfect opportunity to explore BC's heritage. The menu for this event will include beef stew, chicken soup, home-made biscuits, pie with ice cream or sponge toffee. Music provided by local Cottonwood musicians.

Join us for our 40th annual Billy Barker Days Festival and celebrate in Cariboo style!

This wonderful event is British Columbia's largest free family festival. It is a true community collaboration.

Events include live music and entertainment, a rodeo, a kids' day, a seniors' day, a parade, fireworks, concessions, midway and more.

A down-home event reminiscent of old country fairs with games for the wee ones & for the young at heart. Activities include horseshoes, ring toss & bingo along with logger sports & axe throwing - anyone? Plus a children's train ride.
