Every year during the July 1st long weekend, BC's Lake City rolls out the welcome mat for people to enjoy several days of action-packed rodeo excitement and a weekend filled with adrenalin.

Come out and see some of the best cowboys perform. Events include bull riding, ladies barrel racing, bareback and saddle bronco riding, steer wrestling and tie down roping.

These events and many more all come together to create a great family fun-filled rodeo and community-wide event - the world famous 87th annual Williams Lake Stampede in British Columbia's cowboy country - the Cariboo!

The Bella Coola Rodeo, one of the largest amateur rodeos in Western Canada, takes place on the Canada Day weekend. A rodeo in this small community is a wild event, as cowhands show their skills kicking off with a gymkhana, and competing in bronco riding, barrel racing, calf tie-down, team roping, bull riding and the infamous cow patty bingo. A broad range of food and refreshments are offered, including the famous "Rodeo Burger." The weekend winds up with the popular Bullarama, where contestants have an opportunity to bid on their own cowboy and win a share of the substantial purse.

Come and join us for the first BBQ of the season and have some fun. Guided tour of Cottonwood House, horse-drawn wagon rides, heritage games and music provided by the Windy Reeds. Wear something 'red' for free admission. Barbeque meals include your choice of Hamburger or Hotdog served with Caesar Salad, Vegetables & Dip, Ice Cream Cone and Beverage.

An ever-growing annual spectacular of music, dance and arts in Horsefly, BC. From Celtic to reggae, rock to bluegrass, there's music for everyone. Community workshops, delicious vendors, local handicrafts, and a fantastic Kids' Zone (come build your own ukulele) create a fun family-friend environment, with late-night shows and dancing for folks too. And don't miss the riverside camping, the friendly locals, and the spectacular scenery!

Take a day to celebrate and discover BC's rich history. With activities such as wagon rides, horse farming exercises, Royal Engineers Living History Demonstrations - "Dresses, Drawers & More" and "Guns of the Cariboo 1865-1900", ice-cream making, gold panning, heritage games, and more, this is the perfect opportunity to explore BC's heritage. The menu for this event will include beef stew, chicken soup, home-made biscuits, pie with ice cream or sponge toffee. Music provided by local Cottonwood musicians.

Join us for our 40th annual Billy Barker Days Festival and celebrate in Cariboo style!

This wonderful event is British Columbia's largest free family festival. It is a true community collaboration.

Events include live music and entertainment, a rodeo, a kids' day, a seniors' day, a parade, fireworks, concessions, midway and more.

The BCRA Rodeo has been held annually since 1990 on the first weekend in August, drawing neighbors, family and friends from far and wide. This event is a highlight for the year bringing with it a great source of entertainment to community members, International visitors and tourists who frequent this resort area every year. The rodeo provides a place for local equestrian community members to compete.

This exciting rodeo is a highlight of the BC rodeo season.
