Visitors staying in Cache Creek can satisfy their golf desires at Semlin Valley Golf Course.
This 9-hole, 2944 yard, par 35 public course is located on the hillside just 1km/0.75mi east of Cache Creek on the Trans Canada Highway. Also, 35 minutes from Cache Creek is Tobiano Golf Course.
Semlin Valley Golf Course
Known locally as the toughest nine-hole course in British Columbia, Semlin Valley Golf Course is a meandering layout features lush, well-maintained fairways, panoramic vistas of the surrounding valleys, and small crowned greens that demand high approach shots (or else spend half the day in greenside rough). Rental clubs, motorized and pull carts are available. The small golf shop and dining area provide essentials for the game and post-golf socializing. There is a choice of playing nine or 18 holes.

Tobiano Golf Course
Tobiano Golf Course east of Cache Creek along Highway 1 towards Kamloops is an amazing golfing destination. It's a 35 minute drive from downtown Cache Creek and a 20-minute drive from Kamloops. Set on the rolling bluffs and canyon-cut ravines overlooking dramatic Kamloops Lake, this Thomas McBroom designed course was named Canada's best new course in 2008 by numerous golf publications, including Golf Digest. Bring a camera! The 14th, 15th, and 16th holes overlook Kamloops Lake.
The gullies, distances between greens and tee areas, make Tobiano and extremely difficult course to walk, so the green fee includes a cart. With five tee boxes, it is easy to pick a distance to suit any handicap comfortably. Named for a breed of horse, Tobiano is a multi-level resort destination that eventually will embrace the golf course, an equestrian segment, and boating facilities. The course has an extensive range and practice facilities, all included in the fee, an attractive clubhouse, pro-shop and indoor/outdoor dining lounge. Clubs are available for rent.
