Trans Canada Hwy). A Chinese-Canadian menu is featured at the Wander Inn (1034 S Trans Canada Hwy). The Bear's Claw Lodge (1492 Highway 97N), has a full range menu and is a popular spot for locals and travelers alike. Horstings Farm, outside Cache Creek on Highway 97N, has a wide variety of produce and home-baked goods. In downtown Cache Creek, Anie's (across from the Best Value Inn Desert Motel) is where locals go for sandwiches, pizza and light snacks.

Bonaparte Bend Winery
The Bonaparte Bend Winery at Bonaparte Ranch on the north edge of downtown Cache Creek (2520 Highway 97N) produces quality wines with fruit from surrounding orchards. Wines include apricot, apple, blueberry, black currant, boysenberry, cranberry, honey, raspberry, rhubarb, and Saskatoon berry. The site's restaurant features good lunch fare. Bonaparte Ranch was founded in 1862, and is of course named after Napoleon Bonaparte.
Tea-House
Ashcroft Manor is a combination tea-house, museum, and gift shop. With buildings dating from 1863, this historic location is a relaxing oasis 11km/7mi south of Cache Creek on the Trans Canada Hwy. The on-site baked goods are a must.
Dining in Ashcroft
Drive into Ashcroft for a selection of small intimate cafés. Central Café (211 Railway) is housed in a 1920's vintage hotel.
