Burns Lake has a wide range of accommodation – some right in town and many on nearby lakes.
Several motels flank Highway 16 throughout downtown and a few bed and breakfasts are spread out through the town's residential neighbourhoods.
For people searching for adventure and stunning scenery, a stay at one of several lodges within the largest provincial park in British Columbia is the answer. This northern jewel is accessible by floatplane and boat, and the professional guides employed by the lodges will make sure the journey to the park itself is a memorable one. Tweedsmuir Provincial Park is located south of Burns Lake.
Camping & RVs
The municipal campground, centrally located just a couple minutes drive from downtown, has seven free tenting sites on Burns Lake. There are several private resorts, ranging from rustic to upscale, on the pristine lakes in the area. They offer tent and RV sites, as well as cabins and even small long term rental houses. Most also offer boat rentals. Travellers who want more of a woodsy experience can also find more remote campgrounds throughout the area.
