Arts, Culture and History in Richmond

Steveston Museum

With its waterfront boardwalk, quaint shops and fisherman's wharf, Steveston provides visitors with an authentic taste of early 20th century life in a historic fishing village. The museum is housed in what was Steveston's first bank building circa 1905. The two-story red house includes the restored bank manager's office, a general store display, and living quarters for bank staff upstairs. There is a working post office on site, and self-guided walking tour brochures for the Steveston area are available.
