An avid animal lover and Vancouver-based artist, Monika Blichar regularly turns her dogs' adventures into pet-loving art and is inviting the community to do the same at her one-day 'Pet Portrait Fundraiser' hosted at Meccanica by Cressey as part of the Revolving Door series. Bring your pet down with his or her accessories, get a photo of your best buddy and support the North Shore Animal Welfare Society and Make and Break Arts Foundation. The event will also feature a pet apparel and accessory sale as well as some light refreshments.

This fantastic race is in a gorgeous and welcoming community. The route traverses bluffs overlooking the Columbia River Wetlands and travels a great trail system along the Old Coach Trail, set up by the Columbia River Greenways Alliance. It combines back road running with exciting single-track, and amazing scenery to provide a great trail running experience.
Runners will find the 12 km course rewarding, and the family-friendly 3 km run/walk (not part of TREKSeries) will again continue this year through the beautiful Sinclair Creek Trails.

Every 4th year during September & October, the banks of the Adams River becomes the scene of a natural miracle. The normally quiet waters of the 12 km river turn turbulent & crimson as over 2 million sockeye salmon - returning from a journey that takes them far out into the ocean - pour into their home waters to spawn & to die. Their arrival is welcomed by the "Salute to the Sockeye" a pageant which draws visitors to the Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park, a section of the river dedicated to the famous British Columbia fly fisherman, naturalist & author.

Today's journey is one not to be missed! Harrison Mills is now home to one of the world's largest concentrated gathering of eagles, drawn to the region by millions of spawning salmon travelling up the Fraser River.
Celebrate this incredible phenomenon with us; up close and in complete comfort & style on board a custom designed all weather jet boat.
Biologist David Hancock, with 60 years of dedication to the preservation of the bald eagle, will be with us on this exclusive Eagle Tour on the Fraser River.
Our adventure will then take us up to Kilby Historic Site to tour the museum and farm. A home-style, 'made from scratch' soup & sandwich lunch will be served at the Kilby Café.
