Canada's first outdoor triathlon festival of the year provides a "Beautiful BC" experience at Shawnigan Lake. Run on the breathtaking Trans Canada trail to the newly rebuilt historic Kinsol Trestle, with no pavement pounding your legs! A true west coast experience in one of the most beautiful areas of the world . Like Wildflower, the famous early season California triathlon festival, the Shawnigan event features: the first chance to swim an open water long distance (or Olympic, Sprint, & Relay!), a stunning scenic venue, beautiful trail running, great camping near the race site & a fun festival atmosphere.

Help the Angels raise funds for travel to the Western Regionals!

The Anarchy Angels Roller Derby Team are doing a fundraiser scrimmage and after party. Come and meet the team, learn about roller derby and help the Angels achieve their goal of going to the Western Regional tournament this summer. Or, get your skates on with us in a mixed men & women scrimmage (must have passed minimum skills and have valid proof of insurance).

After we head to the Henry Public House (5708-176th Street, just down the street).

Skaters - $15 Scrimmage

The Dirty Knobby Weekend is a fun filled family weekend that has plenty of events to keep everyone happy.

If you're new to riding or want to refresh your riding skills, the riding clinic's will show you the do's and dont's of trail riding. Learn safety, proper riding gear, how to handle natures riding challenges, and the Riders Code of Ethics.

The Dirty Knobby Poker Ride has four levels from Pee-wee to Masters. So, no matter what your skill level is, you can join this event. Grab your buddy, and head to these hills, you won't be disappointed.

Cheer on your family member or friend, or participate in North America's toughest pledge walk/ultramarathon, in "Burning Boot" country!

This event involves running or walking 63.5 kilometres along a gravel logging road from Gold River to Tahsis on Vancouver Island - some of the most rugged & beautiful country in the world.

The walk is an annual fundraising event sponsored by the Tahsis Lions Club. Great Walkers have raised more than $1 million for worthy charities over the years.

There are 12 checkpoints along the way, offering refreshments, drinks, first aid & moral support!

A day for kids of all ages at the Creston Museum! Try your hand at old-fashioned chores and games (everything from hopscotch to marbles), dress up in our costume collection, take a lesson in the schoolhouse, shop in the candy store with old-fashioned prices, and enjoy the ice cream and lemonade. Kids 12 and under, please remember to bring an adult with you.
