It is an opportunity to get together with family & friends to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer & fight back in the hope of finding a cure for this terrible disease. Relay is fun, fulfilling & your participation gives strength to our mission to eradicate cancer. Walk with us in this inspirational 12 hr event as we come together & fight to make cancer history. Takes place at the Mountain View School Ball Field from 10:00 am-10:00 pm.

Jumpship 2013 will showcase the world's best freeride mountain bike riders competing in Victoria's Downtown Inner Harbour from June 14-16. Once again on a Jordie Lunn designed course featuring urban, industrial and nautical themes never before seen. Jumpship will bring mind blowing skill and fearless competitiveness to a new level.

Rootin' Tootin' good old fashioned cowboy & cowgirl events in a rustic setting every Father's Day weekend. Bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, bareback & bronc riding, Tie Down & Team Roping. And for the younger ones we have junior & pee wee barrel racing and junior steer riding. Concessions, beverage gardens, covered grandstands and a Saturday night dance held at our local downtown hockey arena from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am (no minors please). Come on down and enjoy the excitement!

The Kootenay Krusher is a 50 km single track mountain bike race at the beautiful Nipika Mountain Resort. A recreational 25 km distance and kids events are also held.

Seek The Peak is back for its 10th anniversary year complete with 16 kilometers of ultimate fitness bragging rights & a challenge that is guaranteed to leave you breathless.

With an awe inspiring 4100 ft climb Seek The Peak will test your fitness, stamina, strength & overall mental toughness but the camaraderie will keep you powering onwards & upwards. With every upward step you take along the route from Ambleside Park in West Vancouver to the Peak of Vancouver at Grouse Mountain valuable funds will be raised for the BC Cancer Foundation's lifesaving work in the fight against breast cancer.

The Test of Metal is an annual 67-kilometre cross-country mountain bike race held in and around Squamish.

The demanding course, with over 1,200 metres of climbing and 35 kilometres of singletrack, takes just under three hours for the fastest riders and between four and five hours for the majority of competitors.

It is an unforgettable day for everyone involved. For those in the saddle, it is in every way a test of mettle.

The race is part of the Squamish Mountainbike Festival, a weekend of mountain biking, trials, and related events.

A sentimental favourite in the Subaru Western Triathlon Series at picturesque Elk Lake. Now in its 18th year this tremendously popular, yet low-key, grassroots race is famous not only for its commemorative "Hoody" but also for its 1 loop swim course, beautiful ride through the Saanich Peninsula, & 2 loop trail around the scenic lake setting. This triathlon was recently named as one of the top 10 Greenest Triathlons in the world! Race weekend will include a sponsor expo, keynote speakers, entertainment on the course & finish area, kid's activities and ample photo backdrops to help you capture the moment.
