Kelowna Folkfest is a free community annual event for everyone. Every year on July 1st we offer free entertainment of music, folk dancing and singing on stage. We also have ethnic food available from various ethnic groups. A huge Canada Day cake is also free to taste after the official opening ceremonies. Come and join us at Prospera Place on July 1st. The event will start at 9:30 am until 4:30 pm.

The Victoria BC Ska Society is proud to announce Victoria's 15th Annual Ska Festival, featuring Shaggy & Rayvon, Lynval Golding of The Specials, Fishbone, The Aggrolites, Barrington Levy, and many more! The festival takes place from July 1st - 5th in Victoria, BC. Artists such as Lynval Golding of The Specials, Kobo Town, and Fishbone will be presenting free workshops or other interactive programming to augment their anticipated festival appearances. Details surrounding Ska Fest's Interactive programming will be announced in the coming weeks. Ship Point will also host free performances on July 2 & 5, 2014.
