Seeking to promote a healthy but cool, holistic but fun lifestyle, the event encourages a participatory, transformational and creative environment. This event is fundraiser for the 'Neurological Wellness Association', whom do holistic treatment funding where Health Canada cannot.

A FREE three-day festival in Downtown Princeton of traditional music from all over the world. Over 100 musicians and dancers.

The Festival takes place on two stages in the centre of Princeton, and begins with a public street dance and an Irish ceili band. Saturday and Sunday are given over, between the hours of 10 am to 6 pm, to a potpourri of concerts, workshops, panels and jams.

Music won't just be found on the stages - mini-jams and guerilla dances are liable to happen anywhere in town culminating in a Saturday evening town-wide party.

The Festival is free, though it asks its audiences to help with donations.

Astrolabe Musik Theatre & Turning Point Ensemble, in collaboration with Westbank First Nation, present the world premiere production of The Lake / n-ha-a-itk, August 15-17 at Quails' Gate Winery in West Kelowna, BC. The Canadian chamber opera, composed by Barbara Pentland in 1952, is based on pioneer Susan Allison's true-life account of an encounter with Lake Okanagan's n-ha-a-itk (Ogopogo). The outdoor, site-specific staging takes place on the very ground where the events transpired and fully integrates performance by members of Westbank First Nation.

The Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival is the largest music festival in the BC Interior. Nestled in the beautiful Shuswap, It draws over 30,000 people each year. During the daytime, six stages run concurrently featuring many genres including Blues, World, Alt-Roots, Folk, Dance & many more. At night, two stages play dynamic headlining acts; The TD Main Stage at one end of the grounds, and the Boogie Barn Stage at the other. This year the Centre welcomes the dynamic vocal group TriVo - featuring Brian Tate, Karla Mundy, and Dawn Pemberton. From West Africa to Southern Bluegrass, Cuban chants to gospel shouts, these three talented vocalists bring energy and vibrancy to each performance.

A poetic reflection on love. The Isle, written by leading Hong Kong playwright Paul Poon, depicts one couple's encounter on a remote island where their past and present overlap. As they ask the question "do we stay or leave?" a battle of wills unfolds that leads to a surprising and dramatic finale. Witty and touched with pathos, Poon's play is a compassionate yet skeptical take on enduring love.
