The Annual Okanagan Summer Wine Festival is an experience for all who love fabulous wine accompanied by great food & unique events. Formerly at Silver Star Resort, it is now held at various venues throughout the valley. In addition to wine seminars, art, music and culture, are highlights of this festival, along with outdoor summer recreation. Many activities such as wine tasting, dinners, wine and food pairing and entertainment occurs outdoors in the fresh air and under the warm Okanagan sun!

The 2013 Galiano Wine Festival, an event to benefit the Health Care Society, will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Lions' Park on Galiano Island. This year we are celebrating our 21st anniversary!

The Sip & Savour Salt Spring Festival brings together growers, food providers & chefs from the island & neighbouring Gulf Islands, Cowichan Valley & Saanich Peninsula, & partners them with BC vintners.

Salt Spring's known as Canada's organic capital. It's small family farms, artisan food providers & fishing community provide a bountiful harvest of fresh, delicious fruits & vegetables, breads & cheeses, free-range eggs, lamb, fresh crab, mussels & oysters, & in September, local sockeye salmon.

Events include winemaker's dinners, a grazing experience, a Saturday market, winery & farm tours, & opportunities to visit a spa or yoga studio, dine at any of the island's excellent restaurants & enjoy live entertainment.

For 10 days, the annual Fall Okanagan Wine Festival is a celebration of earthly delights.

This is the only festival of it's kind in North America, which is held during the grape harvest time. With over 165 events throughout the entire Okanagan wine region, it is the largest Okanagan wine festival.

It is also one of the best festivals to experience vineyard tours, lunches, dinners, unique events and the fall wine harvest celebrations. Events are focused on gourmet wine, food, arts and education.
