The 92nd Annual Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede features 4 days of Agricultural Fair contests and exhibits along with 5 days of World Professional Chuckwagon and Western Professional Chuckwagon races. Friday includes a Downtown Parade and a 'Tough Enough to wear Pink' Fundraiser. All day - everyday enjoy West Coast Amusements, the Trade Fair, Sound Stage and nightly live band in the Watering Hole. Last but not least, an inspiring Gospel festival Sunday morning!

The fair grounds are located behind the EnCana Events Centre.

Each Wednesday in August, at 12 noon, the Church of St. Michael and All Angels will be conducting heritage tours of its 100 year old Anglican building.

Bring family, friends and visitors to explore the beautiful old grey stone landmark. One of the few Craftsman church buildings in BC, the cathedral's soaring nave made of coastal fir reflects both the Gothic revival style and arts and crafts influence. Hear the stories and history associated with the church's interior, and experience its wonderful acoustics when you hear the organ played.

After the tour, relax, smell the roses, and walk the labyrinth in the beautifully landscaped grounds.

Free and open to all. Refreshments will be available.

47th Annual Campbell River Salmon Fest - a 3 day event honoring the prime industrive of Northern Vancouver Island: Foresty and Fishing and our Festival. The Logger Sports event depicts the past & present logging practives through entertaining competitions between loggers and is presently the largest in Canada for prize purses and number of events. In keeping with our name, Salmon Festival we will be presenting the 7th annual Seafood Cook-Off. The Spirit of the People Powwow Society has assembled a powerhouse of talent featuring drummers and dancers from all over North America and is sure to be one of the largest Powwow's in BC.

Host Drum Eya Hey Nakoda from Morley, Alberta will be driving the beats of tradition calling on Nations to gather and the general public to assemble to witness the celebration of our culture.

Day passes are $2 per day and $5 for the weekend. Tickets are available at the door. Donations are welcome and tax-deductible.

Join up at the Recruitment Tent--trainee soldiers will receive a broom handle, some basic kit, and learn 1914 infantry drill movements! Join in the family tug o' war--or are croquet and cricket are more your style? Sip a cup of tea--or a chilled period soda--with the Patriotic League of Victoria as the bands of the 5th Field Regiment, RCA and The Canadian Scottish play.
